OVERVIEW I designed an app for on-site technicians of a real estate company that lifted operational speed by 200% and enhanced accuracy by over 20%. Zeus specializes in renting and enhancing long-term properties for medium-term stays.
PROJECT BRIEF Their on-site technicians had to perform hundreds of specific checks and updates for each property, but without support, it took longer and led to frequent errors. The team was frequently overwhelmed and burned out by requests and we needed to fix it.
The company needed to redesign and relaunch an internal app to support and guide the staging/maintenance process in an easy and structured manner.
STRATEGY & METHODS I began with user research across various levels: technicians, team leaders, management, development, and additional involved departments such as billing. Using rapid prototyping, I collaborated with my manager, Alex V, to create a design that met the specific needs of all departments.
User testing of the prototype led to multiple improvements that we included in the final UI design and app. A huge personal satisfaction was seeing the smiles on technicians' faces after the first days of using the new app.
